Blocks of a dossier — what each section shows
A dossier is assembled from blocks. Which ones they are and in which order they sit is set by the template — not by you.

The blocks in detail
Header
The title of the dossier, the evaluated period and your logo. Without a stored logo the space stays empty and the header neutral — Picasi does not put its own brand there. The origin is stated in the footer.
TL;DR
The summary right at the top, headed What we see. Written by the AI, overwritable by you.
Key figures
The numbers of the period. Which ones, the template says: monitored sources, their channels, the number of Updates. They come from the analysis and cannot be changed.
Data basis
The evidence under the analysis: which period, how many sources, which filters. The same details appear in the PDF and in the Data basis tab in the app.
Chart
A bar or ring chart over one grouping — channel type, source or topic tag. Below the chart sits a takeaway you can edit. The chart itself follows the data.
If a chart cannot be drawn, that one chart is missing from the dossier — the rest of the document is produced as planned.
Cross table
Two dimensions against each other, for example source by topic. The cell colour shows the value: the darker, the higher. Empty cells stay white.
An Update with several topics appears in several rows. So the column total can be higher than the number of Updates — the table says so itself.
Comparison
Two sources side by side in the same categories. If none of your sources is marked as your own, the block shows only the observed side and says so.
History
How a grouping has developed across several sub-periods — which topic rises, which falls. An entry with no publications shows a zero instead of being left out: silence is a signal too.
Tiles
Two tiles side by side answering two different questions: how much was published in the period — with the change against the previous period and the comparison figure beside it, so the percentage can be checked — and how regularly that happened.
White space
Two or three sentences on the topics the monitored source occupies and your own sources do not — and the other way round. The text is yours to overwrite.
Signal cards
Individual updates with source, channel, date, title and quote. Beside them two fields you can edit: Signal strength and Relevance. Source and quote stay as they are.
Text
A fixed explanatory text that belongs to the template. It says what the analysis does and does not do, and reads the same in every dossier built from that template.
Closing block
The last block: a headline, a text, an action line and the sender below. Where it comes from is described under Set up a dossier CTA.
What you can edit
Four things: the TL;DR, the takeaway below a chart, signal strength and relevance on a signal card, and the closing block. Everything else belongs to the template or to the source.
