Set up Planable integration

What this is about

Planable is an editorial-planning tool for social-media posts. Connect Planable with Picasi and you can hand generated LinkedIn posts straight from the Inbox or from scheduled reports over to Planable — no manual copying. In Planable, the posts are then ready for team-approval workflow.

You can use Planable as an alternative to Buffer or set up both providers in parallel and pick per report which one takes over.

What you need

  • A Planable account with at least one workspace and a linked LinkedIn page (company or personal)
  • A Planable API token (format starts with pln_)

Getting your Planable API token

  1. Log in to Planable

    Open planable.io and log in.

  2. Open the Public API area

Navigate in Planable to Settings → Public API (the exact path may vary slightly between Planable versions).

  3. Generate token

Under Public API, click Generate token. Copy the token immediately — Planable only shows it once. It starts with pln_.

How to do it

  1. Open scheduling integration

In Picasi, click Settings → Social Scheduling.

  2. Pick Planable as provider

Select Planable from the provider dropdown.

  3. Enter API token

Paste the copied Planable token into the field and click Test connection. Picasi loads your Planable workspaces.

  4. Choose workspace

Pick the Planable workspace that contains your LinkedIn page. Picasi will only access data from this workspace.

  5. Choose LinkedIn page

After the workspace choice, Picasi shows the available LinkedIn pages inside that workspace. Pick the page you want posts to be published from.

  6. Choose publishing mode

    • Draft: Posts are created in Planable as drafts, awaiting team approval.
    • Automatic: Posts are placed directly on the planning calendar.
  7. Save

Click Save. The connection is active immediately.

Result

Every LinkedIn-post report now shows a Send to Planable option. For scheduled reports, you pick the provider in the last wizard step.
