Change a Workspace's name, timezone and language
What this is about
The basic settings decide what the Workspace is called, which clock it counts by and which language it writes in. Three fields that are rarely touched and matter when they are: the timezone decides when a scheduled report goes out, the language decides which language it is written in.
This page is reserved for the owner.
How to do it
-
Open basic settings
In the navigation, click your Workspace name at the bottom, then Workspace settings. Switch to Basic settings.
-
Change the name
The name stands everywhere the Workspace turns up: in the switcher at the bottom of the navigation, in invitations and above the reports. After saving, a short message confirms the new name.
-
Choose the timezone
The timezone is the Workspace’s clock. The times of scheduled reports and the dates on updates follow it. Set it to the team’s timezone, not to a single person’s: it applies to all members alike.
-
Choose the language
This language applies to what Picasi writes for you — reports, summaries, dossiers. It is not the language of your interface; each person sets that for themselves.
Every field is saved on its own and confirmed with a short message.
Deleting a Workspace
Right at the bottom sits Delete Workspace. That removes the Workspace along with all sources, channels, updates, reports and dossiers, permanently and with no recovery.
Two conditions prevent deletion:
- It is your only Workspace. Every person has to own at least one Workspace. If you really want to end everything, that only works by deleting the whole account.
- There is an active subscription. Cancel first; once the term has ended, the Workspace can be deleted.
If one of these applies, Picasi explains it at the button instead of locking it without a word.
