Where colors and logo take effect

Three places, one setting

You set colors and logo once. Picasi carries them out in three places:

PlaceWhat the brand sets
Graphics in reports and dossiersSignal color, text color, surface color, the four category colors
Dossier PDFThe same colors, plus your logo on the pages and the signal color in the closing block
Matrix exportThe three accent colors for own, market and neutral sources

There is no second color picker any more. The accent colors of the Matrix export used to come from the Workspace base settings; they now come from the brand settings.

How the Matrix export derives the colors

The export needs three accent colors, the brand profile offers more. Picasi maps them like this:

Accent in the exportOrigin
Own sourcesSignal color
Market sourcesCategory color 1
Neutral sourcesCategory color 2

If you have not switched on expert mode, Picasi derives the four category colors from your signal color. The mapping still holds.

What the brand does not change

The interface. Picasi stays Picasi. Colors and logo take effect in what you hand on, not in what you work in.

The source line of the graphics. Under every graphic stands its origin, and there stands the Picasi logo. Your brand’s logo stands on the PDF pages.

Emails. Sending reports and suggestions runs unchanged.

Two logos, not one

Picasi accepts two files: one for light surfaces and optionally one for dark surfaces. Whatever suits the background is printed. Anyone who stores only one gets it in both places — on a dark ground a dark logo is then hard to see.
