My filters aren't saving—what should I do?

Picasi saves filters only for the current browser session; they are not saved permanently across sessions. This is currently by design. You can use URL parameters to create links to filtered views.

Filters are reset when you close your browser. They remain in effect within a single session, even if you switch between pages. This applies to filters in the Inbox, the Matrix, and the Source Overview.

Workaround using URL parameters (Inbox only):

Append tags as URL parameters to the Inbox URL:

Save this URL as a browser bookmark. When you click the link, the filters will be active immediately.

You can combine multiple tags (depending on browser support), but the simplest method is to create one bookmark for each frequently used view.
