The focus profile could not be derived — what now?
Short answer
The previous profile stays unchanged, nothing is lost. Start the derivation again with Derive again or enter the fields yourself.

Picasi shows the note We could not derive the focus profile when the derivation was aborted. The section stays usable: the fields from an earlier run are still there, and whatever you enter yourself is saved.
The most common causes
No basis. Without context documents, without a website and without a first source, Picasi has nothing to derive from. Then there is no derivation note above the fields, but the prompt to create a basis. Upload a context document or enter your website: Configure AI context.
Documents too thin. A single document with a few sentences yields no profile. A company profile that names markets, audiences and topics works best.
A temporary error. A click on Derive again is usually enough.
Filling in the fields yourself
The focus profile needs no AI. You can enter every field directly, one entry per line, and apply it with Save focus profile. Fields you entered yourself count as corrected and stay in place at every later derivation.
