Agency and brand presence

What the agency is for

Anyone who owns several Workspaces has run them one by one so far. For an agency watching for three clients that means the same colors three times, the same logo three times, the same upkeep three times.

The agency is the bracket above them. It belongs to one person — the agency owner — and groups Workspaces that belong to that same person. Brand and dossier sign-offs then sit in one place instead of three.

The agency changes nothing about the Workspaces themselves. Sources, channels, updates and members stay where they are. A Workspace leaves the agency without losing anything.

What belongs to the agency

The Agency area in the sidebar has five pages:

PageContent
OverviewNumber of Workspaces, state of the brand
WorkspacesCreate the agency, assign and remove Workspaces, dissolve the agency
BrandColors and logos of the agency
Dossier settingsSign-offs with sender, offered in every Workspace of the agency
BillingShows only what is still running from old bookings

White-label belongs to the plan

The brand presence is not bought separately. It belongs to the Pro and Premium plans — for each Workspace on its own, agency or no agency. On the plan tile it reads White-label for dossiers; on Basic the line is struck through.

One question therefore decides whether a Workspace can carry a brand of its own: which plan it is on. Neither an extra booking nor an agency subscription plays any part any more.

How the agency passes its brand on

The agency maintains colors and logos in one place. Whether they reach a Workspace is decided by its plan:

WorkspaceWhat applies
Free or BasicPicasi palette. The agency brand does not arrive.
Pro or Premium, without own valuesThe agency’s brand
Pro or Premium, with own valuesThe Workspace’s own brand

If not a single Workspace of the agency is on Pro or Premium, the agency’s brand page says so plainly: These settings are saved but not delivered yet.

Which brand wins

If a Workspace has set values of its own, they take precedence. That is decided separately for colors and logo:

What the Workspace hasColorsLogo
Own colors, own logoWorkspaceWorkspace
Own colors, no logoWorkspaceAgency
No colors, own logoAgencyWorkspace
NeitherAgencyAgency

Anyone who removes their own logo again does not get no logo, but what would otherwise apply. The same now goes for the colors: Switch off own colors in the brand settings hands them back to the agency — or to the Picasi palette when no agency stands behind it.

Light and dark stay together: Picasi takes the logo pair of the first profile that has one at all, so that a dossier does not mix two brands.

What happens when the plan changes

If a Workspace drops below Pro, it loses the brand presence — its own values and the inherited ones. Everything stays stored: colors, logos, the agency’s settings. New dossiers use the Picasi palette until the next upgrade; PDF files already printed stay what they are.
