Dossier allowance and masking
A counter of its own
Dossiers do not count against your report allowance. They have their own counter.
A report is an analysis inside the tool, a dossier a printed document that leaves the house — two things, two counters.
Counted are the dossiers, regardless of who triggered them. A dossier we produce for you as a service is the same product for your Workspace as one you create yourself.
Which period counts depends on the plan. On Basic, Pro and Premium it is the dossiers of the current calendar month. On the Trial plan it is an overall allowance: everything since the Workspace exists is counted, and the change of month makes no difference.
What happens above the allowance
The dossier is created anyway. It sits in the list, marked Over the allowance, and it is readable — just not completely.

The PDF is locked: a dossier over the allowance cannot be handed on.
How a dossier becomes readable again
As soon as the allowance covers it. Whoever raises their limit has the withheld dossiers readable at once — the oldest first, until the new allowance is full.
Once released, it stays released. Release is a stored state, not a sum that is worked out afresh on every call. Lowering your limit later does not lock a dossier that was readable before.
Only what falls inside the plan’s counting period is released. In Basic, Pro and Premium that is the current calendar month. A locked dossier from last month therefore stays locked even if you raise the limit: the higher allowance applies to the month you book it in, not retroactively. Nor does the turn of the month release it.
On the Trial plan, everything since the Workspace came into being counts. There is no period that lets a dossier drop out of release: a higher limit reaches every withheld dossier.
