Set up a dossier CTA
What this is about
You write the last block of your dossiers once and pick it later when creating one. Without your own CTA, every dossier closes with a standard version and names whoever created it as the sender.
How to do it
-
Open the dossier settings
Click Workspace settings at the bottom of the sidebar, then Dossier settings.
-
Create a new CTA
Click New dossier CTA.
-
Start from a standard version (optional)
Start from a standard version takes one of the supplied texts as a starting point for you to rewrite.
-
Write the closing block
- Headline — the line above the text
- Text — the paragraph below it. Bold, italic and lists are allowed; anything else is removed on saving, because the block has to fit an A4 page.
- Action line — the last line, set off by a rule. One sentence is enough.
Under Placeholders you see which placeholders you may use. Anything not on that list stays exactly as you type it — so a typo lands in the PDF instead of turning into a blank.
-
Enter the sender
Name, Role, Phone, Email and Website. Only the name is required; whatever you leave empty falls back to the person creating the dossier.
-
Save
Click Save.
-
Set a default (optional)
In the list, Make default sets a CTA as the preselection for new dossiers.
Result
The CTA appears under Call to action when creating a dossier. The default is preselected.
When an agency maintains its own templates
If your Workspace belongs to an agency that keeps its own CTA templates, those appear next to yours when creating a dossier. Your own default wins over the agency’s.
Deleting
Delete removes a CTA from the choice. Dossiers already generated keep their text and sender — the closing block was written into the document at creation, it is not fetched again on every open.
