Set up AI auto-tagging
What This Is About
Picasi automatically tags incoming updates as soon as they become available. The quality of auto-tagging depends directly on the quality of the AI descriptions for your tags. This guide shows you how to improve the configuration step by step.
How to set up auto-tagging
The actual activation happens automatically—as soon as a tag has an AI description, it is used for auto-tagging. Your task is to write the descriptions so that the AI applies them correctly.
-
Check existing tags
Open Settings → Tags and check which tags have an AI description. Tags without a description are skipped during auto-tagging.
-
Refine AI descriptions
Select a tag and review the description. Good descriptions:
- Provide specific examples of what content belongs
- Provide specific counterexamples of what does NOT belong
- Are written in the same language as your updates
Vague descriptions like
Updates über Produkteare less reliable than specific ones likeInhalte über neue Funktionen, Produkt-Releases, Changelogs und Preisänderungen — aber nicht über allgemeine Unternehmensnews. -
Adjust the confidence threshold
Start with a medium value like 0.6. If too many incorrect tags are assigned, increase it. If relevant updates remain untagged, decrease it.
-
Monitor the results
After a few days, you’ll see in your inbox how well auto-tagging is working. Using the tag filters, you can check specifically which updates have been tagged with a particular tag.
Result
Newly incoming updates are automatically assigned the appropriate tags without you having to manually check every post. Tags appear immediately in your inbox, allowing you to find relevant updates right away.
