Can I switch from a higher plan to a lower one?
Short Answer
Yes, you can downgrade. The change won’t take effect until the end of your current billing cycle—until then, you’ll retain all the features of your current plan.
Details
Timing: You can switch to a lower-tier plan at any time. The change won’t take effect until the end of your current billing cycle, not immediately. You won’t have to pay the difference.
Data limits: If the new plan has lower limits—fewer sources, fewer updates—you must check before switching to ensure you stay within the new limits. If you have more sources than the new plan allows, you’ll need to remove some before the downgrade takes effect.
Reports: Existing reports will be retained. If the new plan has lower report quotas, fewer reports will be available starting next month.
Dossiers: The dossier allowance also hangs on the plan. Dossiers produced after the change above the new allowance stay masked — title and key figures visible, quotes and table figures unreadable, the PDF locked. PDF files already downloaded stay what they are.
White-label: The own brand presence belongs to Pro and Premium. If you drop to Basic or Free, new graphics and dossiers use the Picasi palette again. Colors and logos stay stored and take effect immediately after another upgrade.
