Filter and Search for Updates

What This Is About

You can limit what appears in your Inbox to updates that meet specific criteria. This is helpful if you’re monitoring many sources but want to focus on only a subset of them—for example, when preparing a report on a specific competitor.

Available Filters

The following filters are available in the Inbox:

  • Source — Show only updates from a specific source
  • Source origin — limit display to your own sources or exclude your own sources (two mutually exclusive checkboxes: Only your own sources or Exclude your own sources)
  • Channel Type — e.g., only LinkedIn posts or only newsletters
  • Source Tags — filter sources by tags (choose between AND or OR operators)
  • Update Tags — Filter updates by automatically assigned AI tags
  • Time Period — Limit updates to a specific time period

There is also a full-text search that searches all visible updates for a specific term.

Here’s how to do it

  1. Open the Inbox

    Click Inbox in the navigation bar.

  2. Expand the filters

    Click the filter icon at the top of the Inbox. The filter bar will expand.

  3. Set filters

    Select one or more filter options. Picasi updates the list of updates immediately, without reloading the page.

  4. Use full-text search

    Enter a term in the search field and press Enter. Picasi searches the title, content, and source name of all visible updates.

    Full-text search and filters can be combined.

Result

The Inbox shows only updates that meet all the set filters. The filter settings are retained during the current session—if you reload the page or close the browser, they are reset.
