Create a dossier
What this is about
You generate a dossier: a PDF built from your monitored sources that you can hand on. The template decides the structure, you decide period, selection and focus.
How to do it

Open Dossiers
Click Dossiers in the navigation.

Start a new dossier
Click New dossier at the top right.

Check the language
The language sits at the top of the dialog. The dossier is written in the language of its template — not in the language of your interface. Only languages with released templates are offered.

Choose the template
Under Template (required) you pick the blueprint. Each template answers a different question; which ones, see the template reference.

Set the required filters
Depending on the template, the form asks for a selection:
- Source dossier — exactly one source
- Source duel — exactly two sources
- Media agenda — at least one source tag
The other three templates need no required filter. What is being asked sits in the field itself: Source tags (required) or Topic tags (required).

Choose the period
The default is the last 30 days. The date picker offers the same presets as the Inbox.
Picasi evaluates no more than 183 days. Choose more and a notice appears; the last 183 days are taken.

State a focus (optional)
Under What should the dossier pay attention to? you can say in one sentence what the analysis should look for. Without an entry the template decides alone.
Pay particular attention to price changes and new partnerships.

Pick the call to action
Under Call to action you choose the closing block that sits under the dossier. If you have created your own they appear here; otherwise Picasi takes a standard version and names the creating person as the sender.

Create
Click Create. The dossier is produced in the background and appears in the list shortly after.
Result
The dossier sits in the list on the left with title, template and creation date. On the right you see the Preview, next to it the Data basis tab.
When no template is offered
If the dialog says No template has been released for your Workspace yet, there is none for you yet. Get in touch and we will set one up.
