Enable or Disable Channel

What This Is About

You can mute a single channel without deleting it. Muted channels will no longer be retrieved—but existing updates will remain and will still be visible in your inbox.

This is useful if a channel isn’t relevant right now or is generating too much noise.

Here’s how to do it

1. Open Sources and Channels

   Click Sources in the navigation bar, select the source, and open its channel overview.

2. Deactivate the channel

   Click the activation toggle next to the channel. The channel changes to the Inactive state.

3. Reactivate the channel

   If you want to reactivate the channel, click the toggle again. New content will be collected again starting with the next retrieval cycle.

Result

A deactivated channel is marked as Inactive in the channel list. No new updates will be received—previous updates will still be available.

Note

If you no longer need a channel permanently and also want to remove the existing updates, delete it instead. When you delete it, all associated updates are also removed.
