Check and correct the focus profile
What this is about
The focus profile tells Picasi what your Workspace is about. Dossiers and summaries align with it. Picasi derives it from your context documents, and you correct what is not right.
Here’s how to do it
-
Open the focus profile
Click Workspace settings at the bottom of the sidebar and then AI Input. The Focus profile section is below the context documents.
-
Check the basis
Above the fields it says what Picasi derived the profile from, and how long ago that was. If it says there is no basis yet, first upload a context document or enter your website.
-
Go through the fields
Six list fields and one text field. In the lists there is one entry per line.
Read them with one question: would somebody who knows your business write it down the same way? Pay particular attention to Not in focus and Regions not in focus — whatever is missing there, Picasi keeps rating as relevant.
-
Correct
Change it directly in the field. What you change gets the mark Adjusted by you after saving and is no longer overwritten by any new derivation.
Click Save focus profile. Only changed fields count as corrected.
-
Release a field again
If you do want the derived value for a corrected field after all, click Release and derive again below the field. Picasi removes the mark and derives the profile immediately.
Having it derived again
Picasi derives the profile anew by itself as soon as you upload or delete a context document. The Derive again button at the top right starts it even without changed documents. The derivation takes 20 to 40 seconds; the page refreshes itself while it runs.
Corrected fields stay untouched in both cases.
Result
The profile describes your Workspace the way you would describe it. The next dossier and the next summary work with that.
