The token limit for the AI context has been reached

Each AI context category has a character limit. Once you reach it, you won’t be able to upload any more documents until you remove or shorten existing ones.

Details

Picasi limits the AI context per category to ensure the quality of the analyses. Very long context documents often lead to poorer results because the AI can no longer reliably prioritize relevant information.

How to view the limit:

Under Settings → AI Context, each category displays a progress bar showing your current usage. Once you reach the limit, new uploads in that category are blocked.

What to do when the limit is reached:

First: Check which documents in the full category are still truly relevant. Old versions of documents that have since been updated can usually be deleted.

Then: Shorten documents that contain a lot of text but provide little substance. Bullet points instead of continuous text are often completely sufficient for the AI context.

If you have multiple similar documents:

Combine them into a single consolidated document before uploading. This saves space and usually improves the quality of the analysis.
