“Your market overview is being prepared” — now what?

Short Answer

The cards of the day are not ready yet. Picasi builds them once a day early in the morning, and in a new Workspace right after the first visit. The page loads them by itself once they are there.

Details

Which cards this affects

The notice stands in place of Update of the day, Topic of the week and You and the market. The other cards are computed on the spot and are there at once: Latest on LinkedIn, Newest sources, the three lists and the allowance tiles.

When they are built

Once a day in the early morning, before the working day. If you have just created the Workspace or have been away for a while, opening the page starts the build itself.

Until the new cards are there, the dashboard keeps showing yesterday’s rather than staying empty.

How long it takes

Usually a few minutes. The page checks by itself and shows the cards as soon as they are ready — no need to reload.

Note

The Week in review is built separately, once per calendar week. In a fresh Workspace it appears as soon as a full week with updates is behind you.

If that doesn’t help

If the notice is still there the next day, it is usually because there are no updates yet: without updates there is no topic and no update of the day. Whether your sources deliver shows on the Newest sources card and under No updates are arriving.
