What does the "Pending" status mean for my payment?
Short Answer
“Pending” means the payment is still being processed. This is normal for SEPA direct debits and can take a few banking days.
Details
SEPA Direct Debit: SEPA bank transfers typically take two to five banking days to be marked as complete. During this time, Stripe displays the status Pending. Your funds remain available during processing.
Credit Card: Credit card payments are usually processed immediately. If a credit card payment shows “Pending,” this may indicate a temporary delay or a review by the bank. This is usually resolved within a few hours.
Your plan stays in place. While a payment is outstanding, the Workspace keeps its plan and its allowances — for ten days. It does not fall back to Free in that time, and an upgrade whose payment is still running applies at once. Only if the payment has not arrived after those ten days does Picasi downgrade the Workspace.
What you should do: In most cases, no action is needed—wait one to two days and then check again. If the status is still “Pending” after five business days, contact your Picasi Support or check the payment method in the Stripe portal.
