Hide or reject — what is the difference?

Short answer

Hide means “gone for now” — the suggestion can come back in a later round. Reject means “never again” and excludes the address permanently.

Details

The two buttons look alike and mean different things.

Hide sets the suggestion to hidden and takes it out of the list. The research may propose it again later. That is the answer for “interesting, but not now” or “I need to clear this with someone first”.

Reject sets the suggestion to rejected and writes the address into a permanent memory. On the next run the research excludes it. That is the answer for “does not belong in our market”.

The confirmation says as much: Reject NAME permanently? It will never be suggested again.

If that does not help

If you rejected something by mistake, you can still add the source by hand at any time. Picasi will just not suggest it again.
