Connect Picasi with ChatGPT

What this is about

You connect ChatGPT to Picasi via OAuth. The process is similar to the Claude.ai integration: you authorize access through your Picasi account without having to manually manage an API token.

How to proceed

1. Open MCP in ChatGPT

   In ChatGPT, navigate to the settings or the custom tools section. Look for the option to add an MCP server.

   Note

   MCP support is being rolled out gradually in ChatGPT. If you don’t see the relevant section, it may not be available in your account yet.

2. Enter the MCP URL

   Enter the Picasi MCP URL. You can find it in Picasi under Settings → AI Connections and Tokens.

   Format: https://picasi.app/mcp/t-xxxxxxxxxx

3. Complete OAuth authorization

   ChatGPT will redirect you to Picasi. Log in with your Picasi account and confirm the scope of access (Read or Read and Write).

4. Check the connection

   The new connection will appear under Settings → AI Connections and Tokens in Picasi. You can revoke it there at any time.

5. Test

   Start a new conversation in ChatGPT and ask for updates from Picasi:

   > Show me the latest updates in my Picasi workspace.
